The first week of the 2009/10 EPL season has been completed in spectacular style with all of the first 16 matches resulting in wins (and losses).  To have no draws at this stage of the season has never happened before.

Spurs have been the big surprise packet with 2 wins and Chelsea again looks ominous having won their two openers.

Manchester United suffered the first big upset loss of the new season when beaten 1-0 by newly promoted Burnley.  Without a top-flight match at Turf Moor for 33 years the long-suffering fans were more than happy with the result and now look forward to more success.
