With Norwich City just a few points away from winning direct promotion back into the Premiership they are probably considering how they should look when back in the top flight. Let’s hope the lesson of 1993 has been learned and they don’t revert back to this design. Notable players who suffered the embarrassment of ‘style’ in ’93 included Ade Akinbiyi, Gary Megson, Efan Ekoku and Chris Sutton.
