Chelsea win at the death again
It looked unlikely for a while but Chelsea again left it late to beat Stoke at the Brittania Stadium.
Having gone behind mid-way through the first half Chelsea struck back to level at -1- in injury time at the end of the first period through a great left foot strike from Didier Drogba.
Stoke bravely put up their defences and looked like they had earned a point by denying Chelsea after a continuous wave of attacks came to nothing in normal time. But Chelsea under Carlo Ancelotti have proved in several matches this season that they are never dead. Stoke were horrified to see the fourth official show 5 minutes of extra-time and the Blues needed every minute to eventually find the winner.
Frenchman Florent Moliuda was the unlikely hero as his low strike threaded through several sets of legs and was too strong for the Stoke keeper to keep out. Chelsea continue unbeaten after 5 matches.
