Preview: Manchester City 2009/10
Can mega-money buy a Premiership? Chelsea proved the case a few seasons ago and this time around the newly rich Manchester City are going to give it a go themselves. Their activity in the transfer market during the off-season may not be comparable to Real Madrid but they have easily been the biggest spenders in the EPL.
Superstars who will be wearing light blue shirts this season are Carlos Tevez, Emmanuel Adebayor and Gareth Barry. If Manager Mark Hughes can manage language barriers and duelling egos in the dressing room they might just grab the Manchester bragging rights come seasons end.
