West Ham continued their disappointing start to the EPL season by suffereing a 1-0 defeat at Wigan.

It would have been worse for Hammers had it not been for a great performance by goal-keeper Robert Green.  However in the 55th minute Wigan scored the only goal of the game when striker Hugo Rodalegga pounced on a Jason Koumas shot that Green was only able to parry.

West Ham have only scored 3 goals in 5 matches so Manager Gianfranco Zola has some headaches as he tries to find an effective strike combination up front.
